Swarovski Crystals? What is that? Well, Swarovski Crystals are the finest crystals in the world. All comes down to Daniel Swarovski born 1862-1956 to a glass cutter in the Austrian monarchy. In 1892 he patented an electric cutting machine that facilitated the production of lead crystal glass. 1895 Swarovski financier Armand Kosman and Franz Weis founded the Swarovski company. By 1912, as well as manufacturing clear gemstone, he had added the first ever coloured crystals. Creating the Famous Swarovski Brand International, that would dominate costume jewellery for the entire 20th Century.
